Emergency Departments cannot turn away ANYONE (ANY culture, language, mental health issues, etc.) TIME is OFTEN spent on NON Emergency situations. Someone wants a meal, change of clothes, or is in a mental health crisis. People spend money on themselves, not food or medications for their children...IF all of the abuse EMERGENCY Departments were known...the public would NEVER BELIEVE it. The above does not even touch on the physical attacks and injuries we sustain. Everyday is a new experience. 馃 If the hospital was aware of this situation, hospital personnel (security, police or a Social worker [with "back-up"] would have investigated).
Sorry but most everything that's been going on was caused by Obama and especially Joe Biden. He was the worst at it.

I'm suicidal this time of year. I want help I don't want help. want to live, don't know how. Disturbed doesn't come close to what I am. Serious & complex health issues My friends & family said if I need anything to holler. I've made calls to those people. They vanish. Sometimes I'm a crying mess and just need someone to vent to. I don't feel loved. EVER. medical transport has forgot me several times. I've been kicked out of my physchiatrist & therapist because rides don't show up or get me there on a timely manner. Horrible chronic pain from a disease. I have ortho necrosis. I have a list of health issues. I'm 48 & diagnosed w Dementia, had 2 strokes. I take the max dose of Lithium. I Try to proof read. I have no idea what i said at the beginning. peace & joy to you

My husband was in the hospital in our small town for 9 hours this March. There were no beds in any trauma hospital in Washington because they are filled with people going the ER. For free assistance. UW made room for him because of his trauma. They also told us there鈥檚 is a black mold in the hospital so they don鈥檛 want to keep there for very long. He had to be tested for the mold until released. UW has a problem with all the homeless people clogging up the ER. They told us they have a plan to change things so this won鈥檛 keep Happening. Plus all the illegals get free medical care and use the ER for their colds and flue. We had a problem here years ago illegal women use different names every time they had a baby. We are talking 4-5-6 kids. After years of this our hospital was broke. One hospital in a neighboring town came a hair away from closing because of all the illegals here and no one paying.

there are plenty of hospitals that take people without insurance I'm not sure but I think it's the law in most states

Going to the e.r is not the same as going to a carnival. If someone done goes there they are going because they need something . Who are we to decide that it's not a worthy reason for going? This is pretty sad when people decide that someone doesn't deserve to go and get help when they need it because they have no money. I prefer to think that I'm fortunate that I can go to the e.r because I have insurance ( I worry about the cost too) No one likes going there.

there are a few reasons she can't go in. generally people are checked out when they can't find anything wrong or life threatening they are sent home. unfortunately there are people who are drug seekers and those with mental health issues ect. . the er is not meant to fix social issues.
