Cottage Hill Christian Teacher Arrested After Viral Child Abuse Video NewsWithLala November 19, 2025 A teacher at Cottage Hill Christian Academy in Mobile, Alabama has been fired and arrested after a disturbing video surfaced that appears to show her repeatedly beating a young boy with a belt inside her home. Authorities have identified the woman as Nicole (Randi) Staples, an elementary teacher at the private Christian school. She was booked into Mobile Metro Jail on November 19, 2025 and is scheduled to appear in court for a bond hearing on Friday. Cottage Hill Christian Academy said school leaders were alerted on November 19 to concerns about “off-campus conduct” by an elementary teacher toward her minor child. Administrators say they immediately removed her from the classroom, placed her on leave, cooperat
