Yeah, the important thing is they are stopped. They’re not a danger to others on the road from a motor vehicle crash now. Just take one danger at a time and deal with it.
I am just wondering if it is necessary for the device to be tethered to the pursuing vehicle. It would take a little longer but a device to wind tighter around the wheel might be just as effective....ask any farm boy who has had wire wrap around the axle. 🤪

Looks good and easy in the video but I think it’s dangerous in real life because the cruiser has got to actually touch the tire with the device rather than shoot it out at the wheel.

Some of the best ideas I seen in a long time . less pit maunivors. Less chances to get hurt this way. I love it.
I think that’s a great idea but still need a plan B cause it still could be dangerous being so close but it is definitely better then a pit maneuver safer in that sense but not being close and the bad guy having a gun you would definitely have to be way way way behind the other vehicle.👍🏼
This is called the grappler and it works really good. They should have it on all police cars, especially those that are in the hills in case you get a runaway vehicle that loses its brakes.

Yeah, it's not really going to work if the person wants to keep going. Like the pit maneuver, it can have some bad consequences. I know two people who were pitted and died. Warned them the police would do that if they messed around.

They can't do that anyway. It would be more dangerous than spike strips because the whole rear end might rip out from underneath(especially if it's a Chevy) then you have an uncontrollable projectile.
