So most likely anyone that uses handcuffs makes sure to tighten them above the wrist bone so it can't slide off . Nobody ever leaves that much of a gap in handcuffs because it's easy to slide off .
If they are giving you that much time to escape, you may as well sit there and scream for help. someone will be along eventually
