yeah, they play like that all the time - no respect. when I spent 4 years in Germany, my dad told me to never walk in a German establishment immediately speaking English, learn to speak the language - that is respect. many the times here have i encountered foreigners who pretend that they do not understand english - no respect.

I saw this on Court Cam. The defendant "didn't speak or understand English" and needed an interpreter at a cost of $500?? a day. A Court officer heard the defendant talking to lawyer in English and Court officer told Judge. That's when the $hit hit the fan! Defendant could speak and understand English and smirked at judge on top of it!!

I truly believe that if you want to live in my country than you need to speak English. I never agreed that when kids are in school we had to drop pledge of legion because foreigners who wanted to live here didn't want their children to say God. That to me was disrespectful to Americans. 🤔
