Why do these people think they deserve reparations for something they never went through ?

Reparations is just another rationale for, "I want free stuff. Give me." People with low expectations for themselves will always want free stuff.
First off, slavery was bad! Secondly, the vast majority of people, especially in the south, couldn't afford slaves. Slaves were "owned" by the big plantation owners without a doubt. However, the average southern American household couldn't afford them. It wasn't like in the movies where everyone had horses. The majority of families in the south at that time didn't even own horses. Their money was limited to only necessities! They would have children. Children were the majority of the labor force for the majority of households back then. Slaves were owned by the privileged few. To "dumb it down" in today's terms. Most households have a car. The households that have Rolls-Royces represent the percentage of slave owners
recognize that YT people are not the only people who pay taxes, black people pay taxes also, I don't give a damn if they return me some of my own tax dollars, like they have used my tax dollars to pay other races reprrations
