When I was a teenager, I had a horse, behind my house was a river, and he and I would go swimming in that river all summer, there were some deeper parts where we could swim.

Horses actually love swimming and I鈥檓 sure everybody has heard about Kenny Rogers a famous country singer on his ranch I believe it was in Tennessee. If I recall correctly, he had a therapeutic pool just for horses said that they could swim.

Love horses, know nothing about them. Actually I did help out at a place brushing and cleaning horses as a kid - don鈥檛 consider that *knowing* much about them. Thanks to mom for volunteering my services. *lol*
my 19-year-old female cat wanted to have water therapy I had her from the time of 2012 alone until about 2015. she had been my sister's cat and was starting to develop you could feel the sharpness & brittleness in Her Bones it's like they started developing edges almost. she likes bathing she would sit in the sink when the water was running she loved being vacuumed by a rainbow vacuum cleaner she liked a hair dryer not in her face but on her body so I'm sorry we couldn't do it for her but I'm glad you're able to do it for the horse 馃惔馃悗. I did know many times horses are not timid around water. have a good day.

Not surprising. Horses almost all like swimming because it makes them feel light. Great exercise, especially if they have any leg injury. And there are more cats than you can imagine that enjoy water.
