you went to the trouble of notching that tree and didn't take the time to counter sink to hide the base, my eyes hurt now
Do the bolts keep it from laying flat? is there another step that we're missing?
I would have liked to see the stem deeper into the tree Also someone already mentioned that they only have two bolts it wouldn’t have hurt to add two more.
This is an exercise in what not to do, so I don’t think it’s real.
Why?

They should have set the base into the concrete.
Should have routed out the mounting plate so the tree sat flush to the granite!
