that is why in Alaska it's recommended you only have a dog that will stand and engage, hold the bear until you can get to safety. a pitbull, a Rottweiler, German Shepherd... a "regular" dog will bark an chase the bear until it turns and starts chasing the dog... which then runs right back to you... like in the video , now you're in trouble. Both the dog and bear can out run you.
