Life Vests!!! Wear them!!! and did you know they make water proof phone holders? Two purchases everyone needs and don’t forget the whistle, you attach the whistle to your life vest & use it for emergencies!
This happened to me once a few years ago. We were floating the river and my Floatie was too small. I got bounced off it. Worse part is was so hot so I took off my life jacket and left it on shore at my friend's place that was 2 hrs in to the idyllic river flow. Nearly the biggest mistake of my life. I went down a sharp embankment and my hair got caught in an underwater snag. This guy came over and saved my life by pulling me free by my legs. Scared me real bad. Did the float the next year, to get over my fear, WITH A LIFE JACKET. 🙏

That's scarry. I was on a float trip and the current was to strong for me to stand , I thought I would drown. My so called sister and mother were laffing. Glad they are out of my life

Well, I would probably hold onto my phone too because if you really need your help, that’s what you’re gonna use to call for it, but I probably would’ve never even had my phone in the water, but I’m assuming it’s some kind of nice iPhone, but even when I bought my kids iPhones, I still would never let them bring them in the water even when they said they were waterproof or whatever I just didn’t trust that crap those things are way too expensive😆
