My mother in law took care of me after I gave birth and had a tube ligation and after two major back surgeries she took care of me. My mother passed away but my mother in law patti she made sure I was doing alright. And took care of my kids while husband worked. I personally grateful for my mother in law.

I am now 74 1/2 I have 4 adult children and they don't speak to me. I had to have emergency kidney stone surgery when 6 months pregnant with last kid where both of us could have died I remember my mother in law gave me a birthday card that said I Hope it's a Dazzler. only thing she ever did for me. over 50 yrs ago and I will never forget HER CARING. HAHAHA. well at least I did get a card. was married to her son for 32 yrs. I AM THE ONE THAT PAINTED HER HOUSE INSIDE AND OUT. KEPT HER YARD MOWED AND BUSHES TRIMMED. GAVE HER PERMANENTS AND POLISHED HER NAILS. TOOK care of her when HE MOVED HER IN WITH US. Then he worked MORE. THEN finally it was her or me to leave. moved her to nursing home and she never forgive him YET I WAS THE ONE THAT visited her twice weekly. once we stopped by and she asked where he was. I lied and said he was on duty (fire chief) HE WAS SITTING IN CAR. RUINED OUR MARRIAGE
My mother in law and I were really close too she wanted to always know if her back is clean I called her my Second Mom she was a wonderful lady I loved her so much 💖
I will do the same for all of my grandbabies mamas 🥰

You mother in law was a blessing! Unfortunately I wasn’t lucky to have a good relationship! She didn’t want me to marry her son! I was Mexican and he was Caucasian ! She was a racist! Both her other daughter in laws were loved!! I put up with so much with her son! After 9 years I finally divorced him! She always sided with him I was the bad one! I called her one day and told her you can have your son back! I told her I was divorcing him and she said what did you do to him now??? I told her I got told her I was tired of being a punching bag! Raised my kids on my own without help from him! I felt at peace when I divorced him! 🤔
