It happened for me at a Smiths (Kroger). I popped in for a couple of things and I happened to see the butcher wheeling out a bunch of high end steak cuts. I waited for a second and rushed over. I was able to secure $400 of beef for half price. So I bought every one of them. 25 steaks for $185. They had some tom a hawks too. But I just couldn鈥檛 justify the hawks and left them.
wow walmart ain't even packed no more. now my hubby can come wit me in wally world and not worry about his social anxiety. 馃榿

I got me great deals today! $150 worth of meat for $67.
It's food that is close to spoiling, people aren't buying as much of meat as before because the price is so high leaving meat on shelf near the expiration date. I've seen some hamburger meat and steaks on the shelf in stores turning gray.
