so here's the thing he probably didn't steal it he's probably just pretty smart because if you actually know the price of a rental car and what you have to deal with to get one and what you have to risk if they don't get it logged in that you returned it you can look up hertz rental... well here's a little unknown fact and that's basically that you can rent these trucks for like 20 bucks a day to $50 a day and there's a mileage option as well, you can do the same thing from Lowe's or Home Depot and it's cheaper by far than renting a car

Happens all the time! People rent one for a half day and never return it. I’ve even seen people living in the back of them. Used to see it all the time in the low income housing business but not by the tenant but from one of the baby daddies. This guy was smart enough to not claim the correct address and I’d guess he has also made the license plate difficult to read by the plate scanners. Some have trackers but not all and they can be disconnected.
