This happened to my mother. She was dating a guy from the Main Line ( Philadelphia ). Bill's family said to dump her, and we'll get you an expensive car. 5 years later, he spotted her going to her father's house. She was married and pregnant with baby number #3, but he still wanted her back in his life. He started calling our house all the time. Needless to say, my dad had a good talking to him, and the calls stopped. My mother told me that my father must have felt threatened because after that, my dad started buying her flowers more often.
