if the vehicle is of a certain age (and that is different with all owners), simple fixes like this will actually leave you with a real sense of self-worth, pride, and real accomplishment! When I had a 20 year-old big ol' boat of a car, that a construction crew guy; driving a dump truck w/ a long, flat pup trailer, had backed into my car and punched a hole in the rear driver's side door..his words were, "Oh; not again?!?"😳!🤦🏼‍♂️🙄! and his opinion on how to fix it was to, "...buy a newer car.." What a $@#-/€π¶ he was! *And of course he didn't want me to report it to his employer (no damage done to the trailer), so he "griped" about givin' me a $200 check to apply for myself to look into gettin' the ol' car patched-up. the estimate at an auto body shop was $500. But they had a small scrap piece of sheet metal, & I had access to a fine wire welder. with patience, it only looked like slight dents from a tree branch falling on it.

I’d flip out at the kinds of simple fixes earn thousands of dollars, but then I’m a plumber. Same shit, different trade
