Judge Van needs to teach his colleagues to at least try to emphasize when something negative happens to another human.
Judge is compassionate and far . Bless his heart for checking on the defendant. Most judges wouldn't have done that.

This judge is awesome although he got sentenced for a very short amount of time his heart is awesome. He’s explaining to him about now making better choices for his self so when he comes out of jail, he won’t be wanting to do those things anymore so kudos to the judge and I hope and pray that this gentleman understands in real life exactly how God Put his hand on this judges heart to not give him a harder sentence than what he deserved. You’re 19 years old and your head the rest of your life to do wonderful things, but you chose the wrong path right now, but that does not mean that it will be your path going forward. The judge may not be of my faith I'm a Jehovah's witness but I like this because what he is doing is showing compassion to one God's children not even the fact that he is white and a young man is black I love it. God has a way of touching us all it will just open our eyes and listen I know this your man is going to turn out to be a better person because of this judges compassion.🥺
If the Judge felt that compassionate & heartfelt he would have given him probation & make sure he receive some type of help to help him academically & if he a drug problem instead of 3 years in jail

They don’t think when they are doing the crime it is unfortunate that afterwards is when they realize they made a mistake and then they break down some people truly just make a mistake. Some people just do stuff intentionally but when you do a crime, you have to do the time. It’s too late the caramel mama daddy, you significant other sometimes you just have to deal with it. Prayers that for the judge good job
