The reason why we are confused with this topic is because we are in an emotional ride by his words. In a family setting you never keep score about anything. Its about right or wrong. God established the family, but we have gotten away from believing this so, we now just keep score. but from the beginning it was established that The Father must take care of his children then as soon as the children can they work together with their father. The father is held with at most respect for the rest of the sons entire life. then children leave father and mother and start the cycle with their own family. Rinse and repeat!
