Everyone is saying he shouldn’t be recording, but in a lawsuit this would win his case, plus in the majority of states, you are required by law to move over or slow down for vehicles on the shoulder of a highway.
I'll drive on a rim and ruin it to get to an exit before l change it on the side of the road. People don't give a shit anymore and will run you down like a dog then keep on trucking. Stay safe out there.
Truth is, it doesn't matter how far off the road you are. People pay attention to the wrong shit when driving. Too selfish and in a rush to go the same places they go every day!
I had something similar happen to me. The difference I was on a mower mowing the grass next to the road. I noticed a small truck coming up behind me and when he went by he was almost on the white line on the edge of the road. There was no oncoming traffic so there was absolutely no reason for him to be that close to me. The slightest wrong move by me with a resulted in him, hitting me. There’s absolutely no reason anyone should get that close to anyone on the edge of the road.

Maybe they don’t see you in time to change lanes without your hazard lights on? I’ve seen some people carry a traffic cone or two and some road flares for these situations
I use to drive tow truck and I would always tow the vehicle out of harms way a fender mirror almost took me out.
That was some fool looking at his cell phone rather than the road. Getting that last text msg sent is more important than a human life! SMH!!

Such a close call. Drivers pay more attention to the road and stop trying to pass someone on the side of the road. This guy could have been killed. The other driver didn't even pay attention to the red cone.

Here in the DC, MD, VA area known as DMV there are at least a dozen cases per year of people on the side of the road getting hit by cars. Don't put your life at risk with these bad drivers🤛🤔, just call a tow company to come and tow you to a safer location. Stay safe my friend.
