Ugh! Certainly there are a MILLION other YT women she could portray? So...THAT is grounds for a federal waste of taxpayer dollars? People of color, LGBTQA+, and ADA have WAY fewer opportunities to play characters because they aren't even CONSIDERED FOR ROLES unless the characters are conceived as what THEY are... I get gigs as an actor/model on occasion, and every role is categorized on phenotype (looks) and chronological age. People were ready to cancel Disney when they cast a Black girl as the little mermaid! Which, like Santa, the Easter Bunny and the GRINCH, are FICTIONAL CHARACTERS!!! But noooooo...burn it down. Same with Muppets or Fraggles... Sounds like a ruse to cancel libraries, plays and ANY melanated voice or ADA compliance recipient. If you REALLY are THAT aggrieved that you SHOULDN'T pretend to be a Black one under ANY circumstances, because it's BLACKFACE... then go ahead. Just expect well deserved blow back... we are NOT our ancestors and you can FAFO! See how THAT is

why is this even a thing? if she were black and honoring white women as well, no one would say a word, this lady is honoring women, actual, real women, let that sink in
