The bins not that high. My girl was 5'3 and could reach out in like 2" heels.
I remember applying for a flight attendant for an airlines as I wanted to travel at the SFO Airport in the late 60's in San Mateo, California! I didn't pass because I was only 5 ft 1 1/2 inches and couldn't reach the overhead luggage bin. I was so disappointed. Now my best friend made it as she was 5 ft. 5 inches. Back in the day stewardess wore 3 inch heels so I thought I would have been tall enough but apparently no heels allowed to pass that test! I see they still have that restriction! 😲
