My 13 year old asks me questions about the political situation all the time. He also asks me about things going on in other countries. Some of us are raising kids who are aware of things going on in the world and teach our kids to ask questions.
Ice hang out at schools, restaurants, government buildings, of course any half awake child can see this going on and fears for “ kidnappers” to take random people away. Kindergartners ask and worry every day!! As a teacher, this is unconscionable behavior in America!
How about teaching your child about our immigration laws and how each country has laws that are designed to protect its citizens?
