if he's a good dad and his child is exposed to the news as I was as a child of course the kid would ask questions. the ability to watch the news in the 1960s was a privilege many children did not have. but we had a little bitty TV and it said on its own little tiny end table and we sat on the floor staring up at it like a science project as a family we did this LOL Walter Cronkite told us what was happening in the World At Large. my brother and sister and I ask questions my parents answered us and and we talked about these things why wouldn't an 8 year old ask an intelligent question?🤔 they would not ask an intelligent question like that if they'd never been exposed to the news adult conversations any type of media/ social media. so clearly this is a good dad answering questions from his child who's confused about what's going on in his world.
