Yessss this was definitely my era. I remember going to different neighborhoods with my jump rope, you couldn’t have just any rope. There was a certain kind that was more sturdy than the cheap ones that come in a plastic bag. When kids were kids, we didn’t want to be grown, just enjoyed playing hopscotch, dodge ball, skating, hand games. When parents were able to parent without interference from outside entities. Lastly, music was good. I miss those days.

I still cannot do double dutch, my sister tried to teach me when we were teens but I guess my brain was too slow for the speed. I just couldn't do it. 🤣🤣🤣 My hats goes out to the sisters and others that can. 👒
