Back in the early '80's, a couple went to dinner with us at a nice restaurant, we're all white. When it came time to pay, they got up & walked out the door. We were in shock, never thinking someone would pull such a dirty deed!!! The restaurant told us we had to pay, we refused as they had their own ticket. Cops were called. They told the restaurant that they couldn't hold us responsible. Sucked for the restaurant but we left an extra tip for the waitress. Yes, that was the end of our friendship!!! SO dishonorable and trailer trash to do that!!!!!

A co-worker and I went to a restaurant on our lunch break, and when it was time to pay, she said she had forgotten her wallet. I paid for both of us and left a tip on the table for the server, too. As we were getting up from the table and walking away, as my back was turning away from the table I happened to see from the side of my eyes her reaching across the table and when I looked back, she was grabbing the tip. I told her not to do that, and she said that she was stretching her arm (yeah, right). The nerve of cheap individuals 😲

I never leave the tip on the table, always in the hand if who waited on me. I had a cousin that use to take tips off table in a restaurant as he walked past, & walked right out..I never would go out to eat with him EVER!

afew years ago I seen really young boy going around taking tips b off b allotment tables no parent in site so I yelled b at him 1 of the waitresses came over b and jumped my ass so I asked her where b the boys parents where I went over there and chewed their ass out big time the waitress was so embarrassed for yelling b at me I told her I understood and cc went on my way
