I went to a victim's panel and listened to some of the family members and it made me never wanna drink and drive

I had one seizure 8 yrs ago. I haven't gotten behind a wheel since. I had the one seizure only but my heart won't allow me to jeopardize anyone's life. I can't stand drunk drivers either.

At 20 I was leaving work and I was hit by a drunk driver on the interstate while I was sitting in road work, hit so hard snapped the frame and drive shaft of my truck in half. I’m now 25 and can’t hardly walk because of the issues it has caused to my spine. Don’t drink and drive people, it’s not worth taking someone’s life, or making someone’s life a living hell

I quit drinking 32 years ago as soon as I found out I was pregnant and I still don't drink to this day. RIP to all the victims and 🙏 to their families 😔.

No one vehicle owns the road regardless of size. Every vehicle is carrying the gift of life in it. Getting drunk and driving is knowingly out to kill one or more people. All caught driving drunk should be charged with a felony. Get caught twice? Get charged with attempted murder. Alcoholic and can't help yourself when you are drunk? How about before drinking make arrangements for a ride home or just plant your ass on a bench and sleep it off.

On one hand: Drink driving is terrible. On the other: He wasn't exactly taking safety into account by riding a motorcycle so both are technically at fault.

It Killed my moms best friend on the high way she saw him the night before and he had drank to much and was driving around 120 on the opposite side trying to end it all then smashed into a family of 5 thank god they survived but he didn’t

Unless they get into an accident it’s the same as driving distracted and without sleep. The stats prove it, but propaganda always wins out because people are driven by their emotions. Is it bad obviously but so is speeding, distracted driving, or anything else that is a conscious decision that impairs your ability to drive safely yet only one is vilified to this extent and everyone who is doing the vilifying for this but not the others is a hypocrite.
So damn sad this happened to my buddy I grew up with as well right down the road from my old place
