No one vehicle owns the road regardless of size. Every vehicle is carrying the gift of life in it. Getting drunk and driving is knowingly out to kill one or more people. All caught driving drunk should be charged with a felony. Get caught twice? Get charged with attempted murder. Alcoholic and can't help yourself when you are drunk? How about before drinking make arrangements for a ride home or just plant your ass on a bench and sleep it off.

my oldest son and I were in an accident with a drunk driver. my son has a tramatic brain injury from it. he got us out of my car and was screaming at me. smelled like he bathed in alcohol. then he fled the accident and was never caught. my son is partially paralyzed, brain injury and epilepsy. he will always live with me. never marry. never be a father. he's my soul.

At 20 I was leaving work and I was hit by a drunk driver on the interstate while I was sitting in road work, hit so hard snapped the frame and drive shaft of my truck in half. I’m now 25 and can’t hardly walk because of the issues it has caused to my spine. Don’t drink and drive people, it’s not worth taking someone’s life, or making someone’s life a living hell
