as a parent you should KNOW whether your child is too disruptive to be out in public. respect for others should be considered in these situations

so a human being should stay home because he is different? this comment section seems more autistic than the child.

not everyone wants to hear all that noise..specially elderly they get overwhelmed as well...Autism or not..you know ur child and their limits ....teach behavior in public ....I've seen plenty autistic children knowing how to behave and not be overwhelming distributive

I have an autistic child . We dont let him run around in a restaurant or any other place .. We taught him manners and autistic or not he knows how to behave. They will only do what you let them ...

Please stop allowing your autistic child to hear YOU say he has it. You're essentially telling him there's something wrong with him to his face

Considering that the child has autism — and knowing that every child on the spectrum experiences it differently — it’s unfair for people to say he’s being “disruptive.” You don’t really know how his brain works, and unless you’ve lived it or have a loved one with autism, you can’t fully understand what those parents go through. Do you really think they want people staring or judging them? They might already feel embarrassed by the noise, but that shouldn’t stop them from letting their child experience the world outside their home.

I’ve always asked my kids “are you being a kid” my first daughter is autistic. Not extreme, but we can tell. And she’s just fine. Trying to save the syrup bottle where the ketchup bottle from her is first priority😂

I would joke right now, and say "it's always them". Like many do. No matter the circumstances. But now isn't the time to retaliate on racist. I have genuine compassion and sympathy for this family. God Bless 🙌🏿 them 🙏🏿

that does not make it ok for you to yell at a senior who didnt know. if your child is being disruptive than the child should be taken outside to calm down

one time this old lady hit me and was mad I wasn't moving fast enough while just walking lol but I told her "are you upset cuz in 15 years you'll be dead for 10 years and ill still be living my best life?" she shut up and actually just walked out of the restaurant, apparently she was a regular there and never came back lol

Autism isn't their fault, but if they're loud and disruptive, you should know better than to take them to a place like this. Be considerate of others

Best solution to the problem, find seating away from people or an area where you know the kid will be comfortable. It goes both ways, vice versa…🤘🏼
