The bucks are smart, they let the doe and the fawn go first in case they get run down or shot 😲

These are not deer found in North America. The deer found in the US have completely different antler configurations. Mule deer/Coastal blacktail deer have similar horns. Whitetail deer flag their white tails when jumping fences and barriers. The deer pictured are more similar to elk found in North America but the males/Bulls are much bigger. Also the color patterns are indeed different as well. That said, the deer in the video are majestic creatures. My unresearched guess is that they are European Red deer. they appear bigger than the deer found in North America.

There’s a valuable lesson here. Notice how the buck slips on the pavement, because he doesn’t get a good grip on the surface. Remember that if you ever encounter a deer on the road. I’ve witnessed this in my town when I saw one slip and fall on the road before getting up and running away. It was during the day and traffic was able to stop so she could get up and run off. They panic and try to run faster to get out of the way. Their hooves are not meant for the pavement, so keep that in mind if you ever encounter one on the road, and if one crosses in front of you, there are more than likely others to follow.
