Usually during prelim they wear their jail cloths and remained restrained by belly chains because there is no jury decided their fate during prelim. . When it goes to Jury Trial they will be allowed to dress out in civilian cloths that is obtained by the lawyer and given to court personal where the clothes will be searched and given to the defendant to dress out do not wear belly chains. The reason for this is to not give potential jury members a presumption of his/her guilt seeing them in jail clothes and belly chains. The defendant will always be brought into court before the jury where their belly chains are removed and the last to leave court and the belly chains are put back on out of the jury members sight.
I think they need to review that hold incident the same as the one in Butler there’s something strange about that with all those people rubbing their head and pulling their hat and something was going on there.
