In the early hours of July 31, 2022, Shirilla drove a vehicle at nearly 100 miles per hour into a brick wall in Strongsville, Ohio. Data from the car's event data recorder (EDR) showed that the accelerator was pressed 100% just before impact. Victims: Dominic Russo and Davion Flanagan were killed in the crash. Trial and Conviction: Shirilla was tried as an adult and found guilty of multiple charges, including murder. Prosecutors argued she intentionally caused the crash. Sentencing: In August 2023, she was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison.
she ended a life, intentionally and with malice, and she should have lost hers as a result of justice........ now, instead of her paying for her crimes, it once again is going to be laid on the shoulders of the taxpayers to "pay for the crime" of this criminal, to allow this murderer to relax for 15 years while her every need is taken care of, waiting for another opportunity to kill more people, while others continue to pay for her crimes......

We could save a lot of taxpayer money by just handing the killer over to the family of the victim(s) with a promise of immunity for whatever punishment they decide to meet out.

I don't know much about this other than reading people's opinions on videos such as this .... Im a advocate of capital punishment - no doubt - I never have understood why people who murder in cold blood get to live . Matter of fact I think we should go back to an eye for an eye ...with a little adjustment ...you take an eye you lose an eye, hand , ear and some toes or foot . This case has me reevaluating my thoughts on the matter . I do have more compassion for young people , especially in the world we live in today where there is little accountability , minimal consequences .... blame is placed everywhere but on where n who it should be placed .
