My guess is that they’re forced to fly on the Sabbath. Orthodox Jewish people during the Sabbath on Saturday are not supposed to engage in any Electronics telephone’s video games television. They’re also not supposed to drive not supposed to cook or use fire and are certainly not supposed to fly, but if it’s an emergency and you have to fly, God will understand

There is an orthodox holiday time span where they can not use technology including tv. I used to “babysit” for them at a hotel they would come to in ellenville ny during this holiday, (babysit meant sitting outside their room in a chair In The hallway and alerting the parents down at the party if any commotion is heard inside) and we were not allowed to even communicate with the children since “we” did things not considered holy during this holiday, I want to say it was during the holiday Ramadan, but I may be wrong, this was about 20 years ago. This is not a constant thing though, it must be during that time span
