I'm glad I did my time a long time ago but that is crazy $5 for a small bag of Doritos $10 for just a little bit enough so it's $100 just go to canteen anymore and you know they only make like $3 a month that's crazy they try to get them to get their money from home

I was in prisoners a lot of people locked up that shouldn't be in prison I'm telling you there was a guy older guy that shot killed a guy cuz he was sleeping in his chair and the man broke in his house and told him he was going to kill him had a knife in his hand gun under his cushion pulled it out shot the guy trying to save the guy got a manslaughter charged in a 10-year sentence for killing a man on his private property depending itself you should not go to prison for that

Yeah, some of them may be career criminals...and some are not. What if he's in there for eliminating a man that rap*d his daughter, making for quite sure he never hurts another child? What if he rescued a little old lady being attacked, with it ending in never happening again for the perpetrator? ...and a hundred other things that (I personally), would consider a good deed to society. Most people in these comments have no idea the inhumane and violent treatment incarcerated individuals have to go through, while being locked in a cage fighting for their life EVERY DAY. Also .. they are not the ones financing all that expensive shit. The families of these folks are very well being extorted, in order to make sure their loved one is taken care of, has necessities survive, and makes it back home, ALIVE. It's easy for everyone to judge..but one day it could be your family, your spouse, or even you. Not all good deeds come with a reward.
