I had that problem, my mechanic drilled a hole in my trunk now when it rains the water drains out no problem 🤔👀👊 perhaps you should try ☺️👊

Drill a small hole in the bottom and fix the rubber gasket
need new rubber trunk deal. take rubber cap from under spear tire to drain water
seriously just reseal the trunk or drill a hole in the bottom to let the water out lol. dont hit fuel tank if ya drill

Or build a lift for the battery and that should help keep it out of the water 💦...
it looks like the seal was peeled away. just go to the dealer and have it resealed. unless you want to make drain holes in your trunk 🤷♀️
