rebar should have a bend on the ends.....to avoid straigh up lift.
Not to code in most states missippippi most likely
I knew it!!!!!! This is why I read the comments.
all steel or re-bar should be set in place before concrete is poured and virbrated
Straight rebar? No bends at all? Those are basically just temporary now.
Soooβ¦that is set up pretty well. How are those gaps filling in around the rods? No J hook???
really should set rebar bracket tighter in concrete
it has only 2 sides?
He plumbed it but what about the correct center to center spacing?
So wrong on so many levels
The little wiggle and lift at the end. I hope the cement settles if still wet enough.
100MPH WIND WILL PULL THAT RIGHT OUT!
I think I now know now how to install these. Iβve never seen them before.
I missed the memo requiring all waste-of-time clips to order "Watch 'til the end." Which I, as the dutifully raised daughter always do. And then resent the time lost. And especially the fact that there's never a Down button when ya need it. Well, no more! From now on, if it's boring or looks like it's not taking me anywhere I particularly want to go, I'm moving on. Even if it means that one sad day I miss out on the numbers for the biggest lottery ever! So be it. π€
ok concrete people are those used for poles for the deck ???
what is that and what is it used for?? NEVER any explanation about the video!!!!
ππΌ
Never seen anything like this before
What about the plumb the other side
but when it dries it can pull back up and out...
He checks the level on side but not the other.
That would take me one full work day π²
A tornado will pull that rebar right out of the concrete.
I sure hope there is more than we are seeing. If not...hell, a good Michigan thunder storm will level that!
my company would have 3/4 inch anchor bolts tied to rebar up through the concrete then plate to bolts
unfortunately that concrete will eat that rebar
plumbed it E-W, but not N-S
Surely there's more to the video. Don't see any ankerbolts, plates or anything that's going to stop a strong thunderstorm from blowing it right off the foundation.π€.!!.
I've never seen that before. And I haven't been involved in masonry for a number of years must be something new good ideaππ
WTF, HE'S CHEETEN L.M.F.A.O π€ππ
need to put a hammer drill to
Red head from RR.
It's ok if you like a little wiggle in your anchor. that won't really hold.
Perfect!!!
