willow trees are nature's sponge. Just don't plant near a house for two main reasons. Like the video says their roots go seeking water 💧. and secondly, their wood is very soft wood and breaks off in almost any gust of wind...and usually on your roof.🤔😱😢😢😭

is that from a sewer line?

found that putting a cup a month of copper sulfate into drains will keep lines free of tree roots, also works great when mixed in water for sprayer to broadcast over algein ponds to get rid of it

Willow trees MUST NOT BE PLANTED NEAR SEWER or Storm water pipes. Their roots aggressively seek out sources of moisture/ water.

I had that problem and found a sewer line cleaner that was flaked that ate right through the roots and stopped them from returning. And yes the roots were from willow invading clay pipes!

That looks like the time I cleared a bathtub drain from the hair of Asian women that lived there before me. Let’s just say, you could have made about 4 nice wigs from the hair I pulled out. The water started draining perfectly after that 👍🏼

everyone has on paper where the pipes are. no one wants to pay the 10g's it cost to pull up the blue print and risk 300k zoning permits for planting a tree

It must be clay pipe because where I used to live back in the early 2000 all the sewer were done in clay pipe and one tree drew a root straight through the middle of the pipe and plugged it

Doesnt matter what you plant as long as the sewer, storm pipes were placed in last 40-50 years. That still depends on quality of construction.Saying went its storm sewer its supposed to leak ,call it good.
