I lost my father at a young 52. I can say young because I am 65. in his short time with me, he taught me things that I still use in my daily live. Besides watching him work on his own cars, building us kids a 2x4 go cart, a batting machine, his injunuity to construct from nothing was superb. I was blessed to have had him for just a short 21 years. One of his many saying was, "if you fall off the horse get right back on it" what a privilege for me to have such a wise man!

He bought a locking hitch pin, lost the key and had to cut the bumper to get the trailer off, then later found the key. 🤔

If you just put a lock on it they can't steal it. The ball won't fit into the receiver if the latch is locked down. It's probably a ball broken off a bumper or something else.

yea not a genus either to broke to buy the actual thing or to much of a hillbilly.

yes idiots, there are still ways to steal it. the idea is to make it as difficult as possible. if u need a whole bunch of tools and work, they're gonna go get someone else's trailer

if you are somewhere where you really have to worry about it your better off to do this but also chain and lock the shells and axles. Yeah, you can cut that too but most "self aware" people wouldn't leave a trailer somewhere without taking precautions. Atleast I never have.Of course I was the problem at an earlier point in my life.Crime doesent pay.
