No give to asphalt when you go flying, you might skip like a rolling stone. My siblings and I were all having dental work done at the time I got hit hella hard & bounced, snapping my neck in both directions really hard. Besides being grateful, as I sailed over all the pebbles, that I wouldn't be spending the next 24 hours plucking them out....after I came to a full stop, an 18 wheeler rolled so close to my head, that the wheels took some of my hair with them, ripping it right out of my head... then, it dawned on me that that was all I could feel, just my head and the idea hit my funny bone, as often happened in my life, as a fear factor type reaction, when you just know that you are screwed royally. I was telling the EMT's that bumbles do in fact bounce! Being "disabled " already, from far worse, we jokingly referenced that Christmas Special and no reindeers wanting to play with us... over the years. 12 years later, hit again in the start of 2022, so at 47 and 56 got hit.
