I read some of the comments and found some rather interesting. I went back to view the video several times because I got distracted by the man. If you want to be analytical of the video; before the man got in, the water was bubbling and steam was present. Possibly warm or hot water. The color of the water probably is due to calcium silicate, which can, over time, leach out of the concrete. It is not salt since the vegetation around the cauldron is still alive and green. Calcium is a nutrient for plants, minus the chlorine. Since this seems to be occurring in a forest or jungle, chlorine would not be a factor. I agree with one of the writers saying it initially may have been used for some type of water management. It seems to be self fed, similar to an artesian well.

here in Montana Idaho and Wyoming we have Yellowstone national Park where they have Hot springs and people don't realize how hot the springs are and they go and put the foot in there or the hand or jump in it thinking it's going to be like a hot tub and it's so hot better literally boils the skin off the bones so you see a hot thing full of water don't just put your body in there don't I wouldn't put my body or my foot or hand or anything and anything that you don't know nothing about especially Hot springs so just be careful because these things that were naturally made can be overwhelming and you could die just by jumping in the water cuz it can be hot springs and it could be thousands of degrees
