Hey there, former event manager here! Let me explain….every bride and groom wants the cake cutting experience and photos, but not everyone has money for an expensive, three-tiered cake. This is a cost effective solution. The bride and groom will cut into that small section in front of their guests, then a plain sheet cake will be cut in the kitchen and served to the guests. This is a very common practice.

I understand it! Partial wedding cakes serves a purpose! It's cost efficient, and it takes less time to make. Compared to real multiple tiered cakes are expensive. Expensive Weddings are for show! Half of your guess you likely won't see again until years later anyway!
