She should never leave large boxes or other items up like that. Children and animals are often killed when these items fall over on them.
Good dog, however, if the person is not home or does not come to the door, the very large package should be taken back to the truck.

That's one of those matress in a box. I worked for FedEx at 65 yrs old and had to deliver a few of those myself. I had to mess with those purple mattresses. Had to flip it over and over up apartment steps. Let me tell that is not when I had my heart attack. Had that when I was delivering a pail full of stuff that goes into a swimming pool at a hotel. Ended up in the ER, on my birthday no less. Who would of thought. Pail was light weight compared to the mattress. This lady carried it on her shoulders. She is strong got to say that. I'm 75 on 2nd pacemaker this year. Done carrying that stuff and being bitten by dogs 🐕. I hope she made the dog feel better.
