It’s so sad to see these good wasted at the end of the day. When I see this, I say, “ GOD” please, forgive them. There is a policy they need to follow. I say to mom when I see this, mom I feel so sad and bad. She replies, it’s a health issue. If they get sick, they can come back and sue the company. You try to help by feeding them, but you are between a wall and a law suit.
He’ll be giving them to ALL OF US soon..
I was leaving Dollar General last Sunday after church. I looked over at the trash and thought I saw dog food. It was all this food with the dates of expiration anywhere from 9/26 through 12/26. Of course I got as much as I could and called family members with children to do the samething. My mind immediately went to, why can’t these stores give this food to homeless shelters or the food banks? Of course the word “sue” came to mind. The store had to throw out the food because their freezer went out! It’s a shame they we as Americans love to sue. Because I believe if it wasn’t for that these stores would give the food to the needed and not the rodents!
McD refuses to give extra food to homeless. Said they would not be held responsible if someone got sick😆WTF?? You’re selling this food to the public 😆😆😆
I’m single , can we get to know each other better
unfortunately, you can be fired for this. It's so unfair that companies would rather trash food than feed humans
God bless you 💕🙏🏼

That's the way it should be. if it's editable give it to people that can use it
Thank you 🙏 and if you are a resident of Danvers Ma the Dunkin on Endicott st rock just like you because you understand God Bless
I agree with him 💯 Percent throwing it away very bad people like me are hungry and ALOT OF people on the streets are hungry thank you for giving the food to people who will Appreciate it
He is a very thoughtful, kind young man!💜💜💜
🥰 what a wonderful man to think of the less fortunate people and to help them in the way he could in this world 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
there are so many people who work at dunkin' donuts that will not give those donuts away they would rather put them in a trash which is a terrible thing. thank you for the ones who do give it to the people who need it
Years ago we used to do that when I worked for Dunkin’ Donuts on Cape Cod and then someone brought some to a nursing home and a diabetic got a hold of them. It was the nursing home’s fault not Dunkin’ Donuts but they complained and then after that Dunkin’ Donuts no longer gave any donuts away free they put them all in the trash.!! I was so angry it was not Dunkin’ Donuts’s fault. It was the responsibility of the nurse or CNA on duty to make sure that the diabetic didn’t get the donuts not Dunkin’ Donuts and because of that everybody else got punished!!Not fair!! What do you think? ??
Finally, nice seeing someone who's making a difference in their community 👏 🙌 🙏
Thank you you are a blessing ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
here in ny we call it togoodtogo app end of day they sell leftover for cheap. pastries and food
Is this place located in Philadelphia, PA
He probably got fired for it. I worked in fast food when I was younger, 50 years ago. I was homeless and the boss let me take food that was made wrong home with me BEFORE it was thrown out. It only makes sense.
I know he was fired
The donut guy should be elected president.
Why can't they all have a special container that says, "Free Food: Eat at your own risk. We will not be held responsible for any sickness or injury." This would be a whole lot safer than going through the public trash any day.
This country is the worse for wasting food.
the owner owner of the ones up here, will fire the help for this. He claims it's stealing & would rather see the stuff in the trash. The 1 I worked at in a different state, use to do this all the time. The stuff was boxed up & given to food pantries as donations. if there was a working fire, we would put together boxes of coffee, creamers etc & boxes of Donuts & take them to the Firefighters at the fire
All restaurants should be able to do this. It’s better than watching people dumpster dive for food
I did that and got fired for giving away the leftover food
That's very thoughtful. Those donuts will stay fresh for a few more days! We need more people like him in this world. 🌎
👍🏼
and he promptly got fired cuz that's corporate America's protocol for doing the right thing
we were never allowed to do that because of the liability issue. yes believe it or not if someone gets sick after your kind gesture to give them something free, they can and will sue. so we put the old ones in a50 gallon bag and gave them to our local put 8 farmer. true story
Ours were barreled for a pig farmer each night - but we were allowed to take what we wanted home so we would get together a bunch for the senior housing
Some store once did that but people didn’t appreciate it so they stop, people started to learn how they could get money so they said they getting food poisoning and sued, so the store hotel and other places stop giving out food, it only took one person to fuck it up for everyone
if Duncan donuts find out they are going to fire him for giving this away. another thing they will allow a rat to be in the bag with donuts and they will give you the donuts. but get upset because you have away donuts.
Very good young man. He cares more about others than the vast majority of our country, including our government. Thank you for your humanity! 👍👍👍
I wonder if he was fired… it’s so sad that most places threaten to fire you not only if you take leftovers home but even think of giving it away😢
Sorry could put donuts 🍩 in bags more cleaner gross
NOW, THAT'S MY KIND OF PEOPLE!!! AND SINCE I'M NOT THERE IN PERSON, I CAN ONLY WISH FOR HIM TO HAVE THE BEST OF WHATEVER LIFE HAS TO OFFER GOOD PEOPLE OF THAT CALIBER. 🤔🤗🇺🇲❤️😎👍
wasting good food should be illegal 😲
Love it young man!!! Bless others and definitely our first responders!!!
Donuts are not something they should be eating. No food value, sugar high and then a down slide,
🌸👍💕🙏Much Love go out to you dude the world needs more people like your self !!!! please don't ever change keep the cat heart and loving spirit that you have the world needs more people like yourself once again I appreciate you much love to you in 2026.... 💕💕🙏🌸
it's against DD policy to give away food...... which is stupid!
Throwing those donuts out at the end of the day is almost a bigger crime than the $22 they charge for a dozen during the day. Feed the people! 😲
I don’t now why they throw food away when they’re are so many people who are good big hungry what do you do collect ins for waste food
Love 💕 it they truly appreciated it.
God bless you sir 🙏
God bless you 🥰🙏🥰🥰🙏🙏👍💕
A lot of fast food restaurant managers used to save their daily overages and give them to the homeless. But, not so much anymore. There is a legal aspect that hadn't been considered earlier on. If, someone gets I'll or dies from that food, the business could be sued and found liable. So the orders from upstairs were passed down to stop and find ways to decrease the waste and minimize preparing so much food. I was under contract to PepsiCo in 96 & 97 following their acquisition of KFC/Taco Bell and Pizza Hut. Audit/Survey of restaurant facilities in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware and W. Virginia.
Hope he was able to keep his job 🤞🏼
Now this is what caring, kindness is about
Bet he got fired for this
❤️❤️❤️
And probably got fired for it 😔
I think all fast food restaurants should do the same!! awesome
Don't forget the cops lol
I'm surprised he wasn't fired
yes good job buddy!!
good job young man 🙏👍🙏💕
They should give leftover food to the homeless instead of throwing it away. Because people need food as hard as it is. it should be more people like that🥰
