When I developed a 52-unit subdivision, as the home designer, I used sound batt insulation in the interior bedroom walls so sounds from either side of the walls were not audible.

I was going to do that to a house I custom built ended up going to the hospital for some illness and couldn't get it done before they had to get drywall up and I regretted not doing it every day kids rooms were off the kitchen and they could hear everything in the kitchen I didn't want them to be disturbed
