If you really want to get down to it, the people who were really enslaved first with the Irish before the blacks were even brought over to the Americas or England or any other place, the Irish were being enslaved. She's 100% right.!!!! If he wants to study slavery, slaves in Africa were sold by other African tribes. They were either as spoils of war or casualties of getting their villages overrun by dominant tribes. The slave ships were met at the docks/inlets by these people with slaves for sale in tow. There is still slaves trading and genocide going on in these African countries today.!!!

I’m genuinely curious. Do the ancestors of slavery complain and talk about in other countries? Or is it only here in America? I mean, slavery has existed throughout history and across the globe for an eternity. Does anyone else know of other countries asking for reparations or special societal status and benefits because of it? Americans descendants of slavery have embraced slavery as part of their identity. Which to me seems crazy. I’m not trying to talk shit, seriously, and I’m sorry if it seems that way(I’m way more vulgar and aggressive if I’m intending to😁) - I just think it’s outrageously ridiculous. To claim you are owed something, or that you are anything, have anything because of your ancestors is…crazy. I’m an American Italian(yes, American is first, because I am) and my family has been here for a few generations. I’ve never lived in Italy. Do Africans owe me reparations because of the pirates who used to raid Italy and enslave its people? Can I make that claim?

John Casor also an indentured servant was about to be released as a free man. Now for the rest of the story. In 1654 Johnson a “Black” man sued Robert Parker, a “White” man in the court of the Commonwealth of Virginia for the right to keep John Casor, another “Black” indefinitely, In 1655 he, Anthony Johnson, was given the right to keep indefinitely another man, John Casor thereby making him the first person in America to own another person. So history shows that a white man was about to free a black man but another black man sued for the right to make another black man the first slave in America.
it's simple if you can prove your family was owned and they didn't get reparations then your family gets a choice either 40 acres or the cash equivalent which where I live is about 20k , now you have to decide to split the money or keep the property in a family trust that no one can sale for 25 years so that a family can be established
