Cops should NOT be allowed to shoot people who are fleeing. We are hardwired to act for our own preservation, that’s why people flee. Your life is not in danger from someone running away from you, to shoot a fleeing person is not an act of self preservation it’s MURDER.

An officer is allowed to shoot a fleeing person IF. That officer reasonably believes that person is a danger to the public IF that person escapes.
