Hope you have a chain link fence stretcher to reconnect it after you’re done.

If the mower won't fit, that's a good excuse to quit.

If you have to do that to keep a customer there are two things you can do. Buy a narrower mower or give up the job. Time is money. Go find another place to mow and keep the money flowing.

Comments on here are some of the most stupid I’ve read on this type of stuff. As far as going into it at an angle, let’s say that is a 48 inch cut mower and the gate is also 48 inches wide. That means it cuts a 48 inch path not the mower is that wide. In reality it is probably 50 inches or bigger so I don’t care how you angle it, it’s not going through the gate . Depending on the size it can weigh anywhere from 300-500lbs so you’re not going to tilt it. Thirdly unless it’s my personal property I’m not going to do what he did to the fence. I owned a Lawncare business for almost 30 years before health issues forced me to retire. If I didn’t have a piece of equipment that I couldn’t use I wouldn’t take the job. I once had a customer that installed a new fence. Prior to it when she told me what she had planned I told her to make sure she had a gate large enough for my equipment. Got there the following week and she had no gate large enough. I got into my truck and left.@

Why not have/buy a mower for those type of yards. If i see you doing my fence like that we will have a problem.
