The eggs have dates on them written in pencil. Most likely they are old (sink to bottom of a pan of water) They get fed to the worms then the worms get fed to the chickens. Notice the one egg that blows out when cracked. This indicates bacteria in the egg creating gas. It is bad. This way you don't waste eggs that are unusable for human consumption.

Called bait shop so excited. he then said they aren't rare. oh well. so now at 74 still poor. this had to have happened over fifty yrs ago. sadly remember more from when I was really young. no dementia but usually don't know what day it is. my RUST YEARS.

How in the world can these meal worms afford eggs to eat? Must be a government program.

Ummm Some people in Asia countries esp China extreme Rural Provinces of NATIVEs cultures would store eggs underground for years and on special specific Holidays would celebrate with the eggs that been stored for decades in their meals and with Reverant Homage blessed offerings to their Deity eggs are a symbol of living Life constantly rejuvenated into other forms .

If everyone commenting here about how gross it is to eat chickens that eat mealworms would absolutely freak out if they knew what fish or pigs or even cows consume. How about the manure spread on your carrots, spinach, lettuce, cauliflower, broccoli or corn. Just don't worry about it and enjoy what you buy at the store. Or grow your own food and you will know exactly what is put on it. Except maybe for the earthworms angrubs and insects that crawl all over and around your veggies

Some of our geoengineered food is made with meal worms. Also using crickets in some flour. Make sure you are looking at your labels. They will try to deceive you, so READ and RESEARCH.

Country boy chiming in: The dates on the eggs is when they were laid. They didn't incubate fully, so they went to the mealworms. Break one of those open and it looks like an alien inside. The mealworms are super high in protein, and chickens absolutely love them.

Hey! HEY!!! Move Becky and Carl closer to the food! They’re looking a bit skint back there. And Jerry needs a hair cut! Again!

I'm pretty sure that the eggs that he is using are bad eggs out of an incubator that did not hatch. They stink to high heaven, worms must eat, don't waste the eggs.

Yes, the perfect way to make more meal worms for whatever you feed even your house spider.👍 After finding an Easter egg your child hides at the end of a pole and the egg hides and you don't find it for at least a year and you wonder why a large house spider made a nest nearby. Just a little freaked out. 😆 #familylife

Mealworms are the larvae of Yellow Mealworm Beetles. They are NOT maggots. Look it up before you spout some nonsense about something you know nothing about.

soldier fly larvae or something....they raise chickens and they're using the old eggs to feed the larvae...which they then feed to the chickens for protein...cutting down on food and the need to feed grain and for the eggs to have harder shells and stronger membranes...much better quality egg and yolk
