Back in 1988 I went Elk hunting over in Dubois Wyoming in an area called Whiskey Mountain .i was by myself of course no cell phones to communicate . I got there and climbed up this steep hill and got up in the tree line Stalking around walked up on the most beautiful site I ever seen . Mountains just rolling of mountains with snow . Later I headed back to my truck after coming up empty handed and headed into town to get a room . At that time there was no holiday inns or Best Westerns but I found a place like Jake’s Travel Inn . Pulled in walked in the front door to a cathedral type ceiling turned to my right and just about had a heart attack . He had a Fixed Grizzly bear inside the area and it looked to be at least 7 or 8 feet tall with claws about 5 inches long . I ask him if he shot that bear out hunting . No he says a buddy of mine shot it trying to get his coon dogs here down the road . I decided to be more careful hunting out here .

I think that bear grew up with his handler, I saw some doc. years ago, you can ID the bear by its lower lip, I've seen him other things like commercials
