Don’t recall Charles being a paragon of virtue. Seemed to be more concerned over the aggressively ambitious camilla than his wife and sons.
He wasn’t a dad. Didn’t know how to be. He was to hung up on his mistress. Someone else had to finish raising the boys. Charlie couldn’t even hug Harry when he told him of his mother’s death. So very sad.

If my kid publicy complained about my parenting skills. I would apologize publicly for whatever the kid felt I did wrong. And ask what I could do to make it up. Children will go to great lengths to cover for their parent. So if the grown kid speaks out. Something went on and the parent is in denial.

Prince William is probably looking at a Monarchy and values that the late Queen Elizabeth II was trying to slowly instill in this modern world. In the past monarchy, say the renaissance era, Harry and Andrew would have probably would have ended up in the dungeons for the rest of their lives or beheaded for bringing shame and embarrassment to the monarchy. I don’t understand Harry. He shattered his position and trust in the family by disgracing the monarchy. He wants to reconcile, yet, he turns around and slaps a law suit against some part of the monarchy or a Senior Royal. He needs to look at what he really wants before it’s too late, loosing everything in which he was born. Disgraced Andrew should fade away before totally being forcefully removed from the family. I can see a modern Monarchy where Royalty, respect, tradition, honor, and family relationships be peaceful without disgrace. Wishful thinking? Probably, but not impossible.

If any of this is true, Charles should NOT be surprised by any comments made about how either of his son's describe their childhood with negative comments. He KNOWS he was not a good father and not very present because a use of his feelings for Diana AND Camilla.
