that is a very smart way to get a patient down from a apartment complex when there is no elevator that is not working. you guys deserve a raise!!

When my brother was dying they had 4 guys hoist him over the banister and the ladies paramedics & emts said to the fireman that the patient can’t go down the steps head 1st we got to turn him around the firemen said doesn’t matter he’s pretty much gone didn’t realize I was standing right there plus I saw the Lucas Machine pumping his chest his hands was tied to the machine

We (volunteer building monitors) used to train like this with evacutrac chairs in govt high-rise buildings.

Why are they carrying a blow up doll like that?? Sillies. Just throw it down the stairwell.😆

This one reason I don’t want to live in a building without an elevator.

It is indeed a manikin. This could be a training exercise.

Now that's a wiser way to get a patient down steps from many floors up

Damn, I couldn't have used this when I'd go on house calls as a funeral director in San Francisco. Tiny stairwell + large decedent (may they rest in peace) = Big back problems.

Where the end result? Why did they have to do this rescue this way? It just repeats over & over. It terrible they wast viewers time.

That is great! Glad someone is working on things to save these men and women's backs. This is a job that is very hard on the body.

Maybe it's a drill for these guys to learn how to use an alternative method inorder to get a person downstairs

a retired tall fireman was being carried down like 5 little outside steps on a cheap flimsy rolling office chair, the firemen dropped him. he had a bad concussion was parlyzed then died. so they have to be more careful now...

they should use something besides the chair to take a person down the stairs. I had vertigo a long time ago couldn't sit up couldn't lift my head so the fireman put me in a straight back chair and didn't support my neck didn't even put a collar on me and took me down two flights of stairs about 20 years ago. they did more damage to my neck and I was too dizzy from the vertigo for several weeks to do much about it. I hope the fireman learned to support the person's neck
