HOT

This actually looks way more appealing to me than being on a cramped passenger plane. I would totally volunteer to switch planes to try this at least once! 👍

I noticed the sign up front says Ultima Antarctica Logistica. I don’t think there’s many passenger airliners (or passengers) headed down there.

This must be an international cargo co. outside the U.S. They have different protocols for flying on cargo aircraft.

We fly military space A flights about 6 times per year. I love the C-17, we just pump up a small travel mattress and sleep. I find the C-5 can be a bit colder, depending on where you sit. Best part its FREE!!

If your military, you can fly like this. Back when I was in they were called MAC flights. Bring a jacket because it’s cold. When I was stationed in Germany, a lot of family members used Mac flights to go home and visit.

If they do do that, I’ll be the first person to fly cargo every single time.

I have flown on C17s and C130s I would find a space on the floor and go to sleep always brought a blanket or Woobie and a pillow on deployments. Long flights werent too bad.

Yes, but it was carrying passengers. it's not a cargo plane. and the pilots need a different license.

Try sleeping on the floor of a cargo plane and you will wake up shivering.

back in the golden age of flying , before 9/11 you could get rides on cargo planes fairly easily , sometimes without even paying

I would rather fly cargo. So... what they're saying is that there are no real safety standards on a cargo flight? No illegal activity on passenger flights?

My brother worked for Flying Tigers and flew everywhere when traveling alone in cargo planes. He did not describe them as comfortable at all lol. 😝
