I was born and year before this happened but ev everytime I watch it I still cry cause this was sad
I'll NEVER forget this!..And im speaking for ALL in America.That was the 1st and ONLY time yt people didn't look at black people as the enemy and loved us as Americans.That disappeared in 90 days and yt went bk to their regularly scheduled program..N_____r! Stated all bk like a wack a hole..Racism is so toxic and embedded in yt people.I seen countless of elderly yt women with Alzheimers and dementia they can't remember any of there families names...But know a black person is a n____r in their sub concious...That's when it hit me that yt people don't hv the capacity value others only yt..As they scream its a black kid in the corner of their room staring at them or those Dementors floating around the roam.Being to terrified to close their eyes because they know they were going to be taken.They literally die with there eyes open and quietly saying"Im sorry"as tears run down the sides of there faces..Racism is like Satans little Covid shot..

My mother and grandfather were insurance agents at the time that represented a variety of fire departments.. They had a huge conference in remembrance of the lost;my mother said it was so sad; a hundred or so men, not a dry eye in the place. Whether it was our government or not, a LOT of innocent people died. Horribly and terrified.. Heartbreaking.
That day for me was a blur. I had just moved from San Diego to NorCal in the Sierras to start a new Job. My brother was a Navy SEAL and was deployed 2 minutes after the first plane hit. Of course, we had little information except what we saw on TV but we knew it was awful. 😳
