Elephants are my favorite animal on earth. They have intense emotions and truly feel love, grief, gratitude, generosity and incredible loyalty. They are kind, but also fiercely protective of their loved ones. If you have never had the pleasure of interacting one on one with an elephant, it’s something to put on your bucket list. Find an elephant sanctuary or rescue if there is one near you, volunteer and you’ll see. It’s not easy, but the rewards are tremendous!
